Manifesting based on your △ Human Design chart
In Human Design—a system that integrates astrology, the Hindu chakras, the Chinese iChing, the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, and quantum physics—there are two different approaches to manifesting your desires.
Based on your chart, you can be either a specific or nonspecific manifestor. Understanding the difference between these two can be so illuminating, especially for nonspecifics! So, let’s dive in.
Grab your Human Design chart and look at the top of your chart. You’ll see four arrows. Look at the bottom right black arrow. If it’s pointing left, you’re specific. If it’s pointing right, you’re nonspecific.
*You’ll notice this chart is nonspecific.
Specific Manifesting
Specific manifesting is the approach that most spiritual teachings are based on. It’s all about getting crystal clear about what you’re calling in. Creating itemized lists and vision boards can be a beautiful way to do this!
For example, a client of mine manifested her dream home. She made an exact list of everything she desired. Being a Cali-native, she even added a pool in the backyard. (She lives in the Pacific Northwest, so this was a pretty wild notion!) Yet, the perfect house dropped into her lap with every item on her list right down to the pool. That’s specific manifesting for you, the magic is in the details.
A suggested practice:
Choose an area of your life that you’d like to focus on and then make a list with all of the juicy specifics. (Don’t hold back!) Get as clear as possible. Once you have your list, meditate with this vision daily. You may want to hold it or read through each line. Each time you sit with it, embody the feelings of receiving all that you desire. Let the expansive, joyful energy fill up your being.
*Note, if any doubts, fears, or feelings of unworthiness arise, this is an invitation to go deeper into your shadow realms. Take some time to journal about the limiting beliefs that are preventing you from feeling worthy of receiving your desires. You can ask yourself if these are really true. Often, we learn beliefs in childhood that aren’t relevant anymore. Create the space to release old beliefs so that you can welcome your new vision.
Nonspecific Manifesting
Nonspecific manifesting is all about letting the Universe handle the details, instead of figuring it all out. In fact, that can get in your own way. Instead, focus on clarifying your dreamy desires and core feelings, and then release attachment, expectations, grasping, or clinging to how it should unfold. The key here is surrendering, trusting, and allowing.
The beauty behind Nonspecific manifesting is instead of being limited by what our mind can comprehend, we open up to all the possibilities. What’s received is often even better than we imagined!
A suggested practice:
Choose an area of your life you’d like to focus on, and then clarify your desires and how you want to feel. For example, if you’re focusing on manifesting money, your desire may be to make at least x amount monthly from your business, and you want to feel passionate, creative, connected, and easeful in your work. Then allow the universe to show you the way! This creates space for opportunities you hadn’t even thought of to come forth.
You can create a daily practice of sitting with your vision and core feelings in a loving, receptive space. You may even want to ask the Universe to “show me the pathway forward.” Be open and curious about what the Universe will bring your way.
*Note, if any doubts, fears, or feelings of unworthiness arise, this is an invitation to go deeper into your shadow realms. Take some time to journal about the limiting beliefs that are preventing you from feeling worthy of receiving your desires. You can ask yourself if these are really true. If you feel inspired to deepen your manifestation practice, I'd suggest you try your unique approach for the next thirty days. Remember, this work isn’t black and white. Let this period be a time of creative exploration, a time of noticing. Embrace life as a beautiful experiment.
As always, take what resonates and leave the rest.
