Marketing △ launch tips for healers, coaches + spiritual entrepreneurs
When you’re deeply connected to your work, your purpose and your community — doing a marketing or promotional launch can be a challenge.
You may hold beliefs that…
…your community will think you just care about making money.
…spiritual people don’t promote, the universe just supports you. (Which it does! But you have to meet it halfway.)
…you don’t want to be seen. Or, to be seen as annoying. You’d rather stay behind the curtain.
…you don’t know how. We often don’t see what conscious promotion looks like. (And let’s be real, we’ve all been scarred by the sleazy salesperson vibe.)
There may be a lot of reasons why you hold yourself back from showing up and promoting your work.
Yet, you have to share to be deeply of service. You have to invite your community into your work. You have to find expansive, pleasurable ways to promote yourself.
The bottom line is, in order to have impact, you have to get our work out into the world.
So, if you’re promoting something new, focus on…
1. Connecting with your why.
Why are you offering this? Why is it needed in your community? And why did you feel ignited to create it?
2. Finding pleasure in the process.
Share (write, post, engage) when you’re in an expansive, pleasurable mindset. If you’re not, take a walk in nature, or light a candle, or pull a tarot card, or listen to inspiring tunes to shake it out. Or, even wait a day or two. The vibration of where you’re at when you’re writing is felt by those who receive it.
3. Remembering that we all need reminders.
We’re juggling a lot — we may be overwhelmed, distracted or multi-tasking when we open emails or read posts. Meaning, we need to see things multiple times. Reminders are kind and loving.
4. Honoring the inbox.
Ask for consent before sending lots of promotional emails. It creates a more meaningful energetic exchange.
There's a lot more to say on this topic — but those are some helpful reminders that I love coming back to. I hope it's supportive for all those who're ready to share their work in bigger ways!
