Your marketing strategy △ as a devotional act of love

What if marketing felt pleasurable and playful? Like a devotional act of love.

This dear ones, is what I’m interested in. I’m ready to reframe marketing and reclaim my relationship to it. Who’s with me?

If you’re not convinced yet, let me expand a little deeper.

I had an beautiful conversation this morning with my mentor (Nisha Moodley) about how marketing can be compared to tending a garden. We begin by creating clarity surrounding what we’d like to grow — we plant seeds with intention and love — and then we have to let go.

It’s time to surrender and allow...

We can’t push the seeds to grow faster. And, if certain seeds don’t grow, we don’t judge them. We don’t shame them. They’re not a failure. Maybe they’ll grow next season? Maybe the conditions weren’t quite right? That doesn’t mean we should never plant them again.

Every action we take, conversation we have, message we share — ripples out and creates impact.

We may not see the results right away. The seeds may bloom next season. We just don’t know.

So, how can we keep showing up and planting our seeds? How can we allow it to be pleasurable, so that it feels like an act of love?
